Our Mission
At Agape Sporthorses, we specialize in buying and selling top quality Hunter/Jumpers that are suitable for the North American market. For us, quality reaches beyond the athleticism and scope of the horse, and stretches into the rideability and soundness of the horse. Each horse in our barn is carefully selected and almost all our horses are personally owned by us. We import a majority of our horses from Europe, and source a select few horses from the US.
We believe in taking a holistic approach to the training and management of our horses. We always start from the ground up, putting an emphasis on getting our horses feeling their best. We have seen first hand how the soundness and wellbeing of our horses directly impacts their performance and behavior which is why this is such an important part of our business!
Our training program combines Natural Horsemanship with Classical Riding Principles to develop the most well-rounded and rideable horses. We strive to develop horses who will be suitable for a wide variety of riders, including Juniors and Amateurs.
Our selective process insures the most transparency and integrity when buying and selling our horses. We pride ourselves in finding the best matches for each of our sale horses so they can have the most success with their new owners.
Meet the Team
Ada Neumann
Ada is the head trainer and owner of Agape Sporthorses. She has an extensive record showing and catch riding in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation rings on the A Circuit. As a junior, she had many top placings in the Big Eq and competed up to the 1.30m level in the jumper ring. She’s worked for and learned from some of the top professionals across the country including Aaron Vale in Ocala, Florida, and Bernie Traurig in Southern California. For the last several years, Ada has had a successful sales business as a professional rider.
Ada is passionate about developing and starting young horses, as well as importing horses from Europe and getting them ready for the American market. She has experience working with a wide variety of horses, and over the years she has refined her training methods to merge Classical Riding Principles with Natural Horsemanship. In the barn, Ada is not just the trainer/rider. She is also her own groom and takes a very hands on approach to every aspect of her horse’s training.
Outside the stable, Ada is also a Certified Life Coach. She has spent a great amount of time diving into the world of personal development and spirituality. This knowledge and deeper understanding of growth and transformation has touched every aspect of her life, including her relationship to her horses. She has applied many skills and tools to her business and the training of her horses in recent years.
Jennifer Neumann
Jennifer is the barn manager at Agape Sporthorses. She is also the owner and founder of Cosmic Comfort Eq therapeutic products. Jennifer grew up riding in Pony Club and competing in eventing and dressage. Later in life, she started doing Natural Horsemanship and rode with some of the top horseman in the industry such as Ray Hunt and Pat Parelli. Jennifer now brings her extensive knowledge and passion for the horse’s soundness and health to Agape Sporthorses.
